Up a mountain

Up a mountain, originally uploaded by British Traveller.

This is my family. We're halfway up a modest mountain at the side of Loch Ness. I'm not sure of it's name. It's quite exciting, as it's my first mountain since arriving in Scotland, and it's my little brother's first mountain ever!

  1. This mountain is called Meallfuarvonie or Meall Fuar-mhonaidh, which means 'rounded hill of the cold moor'. This mountain is the highest point on the northern Loch Ness shore at 2,293 ft (699m). It was really high and had a good view at the top! I could see Loch Ness and loads of mountains. - Thomas
