I love seeing old church buildings, but often wonder how much living Christianity is in whichever one I see.
The real church (the Lord's people like you) is sometimes found in the glorious cathedrals, and sometimes found in the poorest meeting places. The true and the false Christians are in both kinds of places.
Craig, you're not that far away from my in-laws. I visited York a long time ago and there was a BBC series on the Minster not too long ago. Wow, what travels you are on.
It's true that York Minster has a very small congregation for such a large building. But I remember going there on Good Friday last year when there were so many people they had to squash us into the side aisles!
